We are looking to recruit an experienced catering butcher to join a well-established catering butchery business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to become part of a professional and reputable team, with a competitive salary package on offer for the right candidate.
Hours of Work:
1. 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday (day off during the week)
2. Start: 5:00am
3. Finish: 3:00pm
4. 1-hour break
Salary & Benefits:
5. From £35,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)

Job Description
Overall Objective:
To assist the management and team in the cutting room, ensuring that the company’s high standards of meat quality, hygiene, and efficiency are consistently maintained.
Specific Responsibilities:
7. To butcher to a high standard, quickly and efficiently, as directed by the Head Butcher / Operations Manager.
8. To assist with compiling and fulfilling client orders accurately and on time.
9. To maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
10. To ensure that all cuts and specifications meet company and client requirements.
People & Teamwork:
11. Work collaboratively with colleagues, treating others with respect and professionalism.
12. Support and assist fellow team members when required to meet production goals.
13. Represent the company’s values and contribute to a positive team culture.
Health, Safety & Food Standards:
14. Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and environmental standards are adhered to at all times.
15. Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs promptly to the Operations Manager.
16. Follow company policies and procedures as trained and instructed.
17. Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cutting room.
Additional Responsibilities:
18. Take an active role in your own professional development with guidance from management.
19. Complete any relevant training as identified by the Operations Manager.
20. Act as a positive ambassador for the business at all times.
21. Carry out any reasonable requests made by the Head Butcher or management team.
