Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic team in a state of the art reformer Pilates studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, alongside a solid understanding of anatomy. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding clients through engaging and effective Pilates sessions, ensuring they achieve their fitness goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct Reformer Pilates classes for individuals and groups, tailoring sessions to meet the varying needs and fitness levels of participants.
* Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises, ensuring proper form and technique to maximise benefits and minimise the risk of injury.
* Monitor clients' progress, offering constructive feedback and modifications as necessary to enhance their experience and results.
* Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere within the studio, fostering community among clients.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in Pilates and fitness to continuously improve teaching methods and client engagement.
* Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained before and after classes.
* Assist in promoting studio events, workshops, and programmes to encourage client participation.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire clients.
* Knowledge of anatomy is essential to effectively instruct clients on safe exercise practices.
* Certification in Reformer Pilates instruction from a recognised organisation is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds.
* A friendly, approachable demeanour that encourages client retention and satisfaction.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
