This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, dynamic and committed Lecturer who has relevant experience of supporting learners who have, up until now, not engaged in mainstream education. You will be creative, experienced and passionate about working with these students aged 14-16 and have the ability to engage and encourage students to participate and develop new skills in an exciting and motivating environment. This role has a specific focus to lead and deliver our programme of GCSE Maths.
Your role will be to deliver a GCSE Maths programme to groups of year 10 and year 11 learners, with a prime focus to support their progress and to help them achieve. Your timetable will also include delivery of engaging enrichment opportunities at our campus.
Responsibilities
* Deliver GCSE Maths to groups of Year 10 and Year 11 learners.
* Lead and deliver the Maths programme within the 14-16 Alternative Provision context.
* Support learner progress and progression towards success in GCSE Mathematics.
* Provide engaging enrichment activities at the Brinsbury campus.
Qualifications and attributes
* Experience of supporting learners who have not engaged in mainstream education.
* Ability to engage and motivate students aged 14-16 and develop new skills in a dynamic environment.
* Relevant teaching/lecturing experience in GCSE Maths or equivalent.
