We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to lead a discovery project across a portfolio of digital health and disability services. These services vary in maturity, operate on different infrastructures, and serve a wide range of internal and external users.
The purpose of this role is to help leadership and service teams develop a clear understanding of their information and data needs, ensuring services can be operated safely, efficiently, and in alignment with wider digital and data strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and delivery of a discovery exercise to investigate data and information needs across multiple services.
* Work closely with leadership and service teams to define requirements and capture insights.
* Coordinate stakeholders across operational, policy, and data functions to ensure findings are understood and actionable.
* Document and analyse the current data landscape, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities.
* Establish clear outputs and recommendations that support operational needs, service improvements, and strategic reporting.
* Apply agile delivery practices to manage the work effectively, ensuring progress is transparent and iterative.
Areas of Focus
This discovery will aim to answer key questions, including:
* What data do we hold across services?
* What are the different types of data?
* Who consumes this data (internal teams, stakeholders, or external users)?
* Are there external users or direct data feeds?
* What gaps exist in our current data coverage?
* What can be accessed via the health data platform?
* What data is shared with central analytics teams or other bodies?
* Who has access to information across services?
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, ideally with exposure to public sector or complex service environments.
* Experience delivering data-related projects or working in programmes with a strong data and information focus.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions.
* Ability to work independently, with a self-starting and proactive approach.
* Good understanding of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to embed iterative, collaborative ways of working.
* Awareness of how data underpins digital services and operational performance.
