Legal counsel (construction)

I’m currently supporting one of the most highly regarded in-house legal teams within the infrastructure and engineering sector on the appointment of a Legal Counsel.

This is an opportunity to join a global business operating at the forefront of major infrastructure and development projects across the UK and internationally.

The role forms part of a sophisticated and collaborative legal function, with legal advising across a broad range of commercial, construction, disputes, governance and strategic matters.

The successful candidate will support complex and high-value infrastructure projects, partnering closely with project and commercial teams across the business.

This role would suit a construction lawyer looking for genuinely high-quality work, significant autonomy and strong work/life balance within a stable and highly respected organisation.

About You

• England & Wales qualification (or another common law jurisdiction)
• Strong construction/projects experience (ideally 5+ PQE)
• Experience gained either in private practice or in-house
• Ability to work autonomously and pragmatically
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
