Job Description:
Our client in Broughshane is currently seeking a temporary ongoing Part-time Library Branch Manager.
Working on a 2-week rota basis:
* Tuesday 10-8, Thursday 9.30-5, Saturday 10-4
Rate of pay: £15.00ph, Saturday rate: £19.94ph
Job Duties
* Ensure all core library services are provided to high standards and comply with policies
* Manage, supervise, and appraise staff including senior library assistants, assistants, and ancillary staff
* Maintain library premises, manage records, and escalate issues as needed
* Qualifications: Minimum of two GCE A levels or equivalent plus two years' experience in a customer-focused environment within the last five years, or three years' experience within the last six years
* Experience in promoting and delivering customer services to diverse groups
* Proficient in ICT systems/applications
* Experience working in partnership or collaboration with internal/external customers
* Ability to work effectively within a team to meet organizational goals
Additional requirements include experience managing staff and working in a public, academic, or specialist library. Candidates must hold an enhanced Access NI check.
