Pump Engineer – Overview We are working with one of the UK’s largest District Heating and Energy Centre O&M companies with over 30 years experience maintaining District Heat Networks, Energy Centres and Commercial Plant Rooms throughout the UK. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Pumps and pressurisation units to join the team. They can offer you opportunities to develop your skillset across Heating Systems, Steam, CHP, Biomass, Heat Pumps and more. This role is for their London based team who cover the Operations & Maintenance of District Heating Plant Rooms, and Energy Centres at sites such as Hospitals, Universities, Manufacturing sites and factories. They operate and maintain all the systems within their Energy Centres (plant rooms) which include everything from Boilers to Burners, Steam Plant, LTHW Systems, CHP units, Biomass, Heat Pumps, Pumps, Pressurisation units and all plumbing and pipework. Within their London team, each Engineer has a different specialty. Some of the Engineers are more Com/Ind Gas qualified, some are specialists on Steam, CHP, or Renewables. All Engineers learn from each other and they would like to bring you in as a Pump specialist in order to concentrate on the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and breakdown of pump within their plant rooms.
