Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are looking for a QualifiedAccountant ?to join our growing team. Our audit and accounts team are core to RBCA. We have hundreds of clients, but this role is focused on larger Owner Managed Businesses and audits and not micro entities. The role is well developed and offers great opportunities for progression to manager and beyond. This role would suit someone who wants to escape the narrow confines of a big firm to build their wider accounting skills or someone ambitious from a smaller practice.? Key Responsibilities: Provide accounting, tax, and advisory services to sole traders, SMEs, and professionals, including budgeting, financial forecasting, treasury/tax strategies, risk management, and business restructuring. Prepare andsubmitcorporate, personal, VAT, and other tax returns, delivering strategic tax planning to optimise liabilities and support growth. Audit clients of varying sizes and industries using the latest technology,preparingand reviewing statutory accounts for a range of entity types. Support and manage the audit process, including mentoring andassistingjunior team members. Serve as the main point of contact for clients,maintainingstrong relationships, resolving queries, and delivering proactive advice. Engage with clients regularly to gather information, provide updates, and address progress or issues. Essential Criteria: You will have an ACA qualification or equivalent You will have experience working within a practice environment You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills Your strong planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail will be in evidence Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and priorities are also important As a modern firm you will both an interest and demonstrableproficiencyin tech Benefits We are committed to market leading packages.
