Here at UPP we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Assistant to join our team. The Front of House Assistant will be responsible for operating the Reception Desk, and a computerised system that controls real time helpdesk monitoring for reactive and planned maintenance work. This is a permanent, part- time position working 30 hours per week from 12:00pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. The salary is £19,874 per annum. Role responsibilities include: Provide an excellent and comprehensive reception service to the residence and to the offices; keep records of all visitors, contractors and issue keys when required Assist the relevant manager(s) in the co-ordination of all on-site activities and day to day administration plus complete all regular reporting Carry out regular walks of the residence and grounds, monitoring and reporting any security/safety issues to the relevant manager Monitor the conduct of students, encouraging reasonable and fair behaviour, reporting any breach of the Code of Conduct and license agreement Manage and monitor out of hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health & safety procedures and any relevant residence instructions Liaise, as necessary, with other UPP staff, university clients, sub-contractors, residents and conference delegates We truly care about the experience of our residents and invite you to join our friendly and passionate team to help make a positive difference to students living away from home in our accommodation. You will also be flexible to work (with notice) additional hours when the need arises, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends.
