We are currently recruiting dedicated and resilient Autism Support Workers / SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team in Bradford, a highly respected specialist setting supporting pupils aged 3–19 with Autism, Communication & Interaction needs, and complex learning difficulties.

The Role – Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant
As an Autism Support Worker, you will support pupils across different age groups and ability levels throughout the school.
No two days are the same. Some pupils may require active support with behaviour linked to sensory needs or communication difficulties, while others benefit from a calm, patient, and reassuring approach.
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help pupils access learning, regulate emotions, and build independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children and young people with Autism and complex needs
* Assist pupils inside and outside the classroom
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students
* Support communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
* Manage challenging behaviour using calm and consistent approaches
* Provide personal care when required
* Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence
* Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning and sensory needs
* Work collaboratively as part of a specialist SEN team
