Job Summary
The Climber or Grounds Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces on the railway. This position involves a variety of tasks related to vegetation maintenance, including tree work ensuring that grounds are well-kept and safe.
Responsibilities
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for de vegetation tasks.
* Maintain equipment in good working order through routine checks and minor repairs.
* Ensure all areas are kept clean and free from debris to promote safety and aesthetics.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement
CS30- Chainsaw maintenance & cross cutting is essential
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods in various weather conditions.
