In this role, the Analyst, ERP Business Analysis identifies and analyses business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives for SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications integrated with business processes/data and IT infrastructure. You will:
1. Work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Aftermarket, Supply Chain, and Regional Trading Companies to ensure accurate and timely implementation of material changes and new product setups. Share knowledge and provide support to internal stakeholders regarding ERP and PLM data requirements.
2. Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications, and validate SAP solutions with business stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Service teams to ensure the ERP system supports business processes effectively.
4. Identify, propose, and implement enhancements to material master data processes, ensuring alignment with data governance standards and improving data quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Support documentation and standardization of processes.
5. Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes through SAP modules.
6. Support global continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data management practices.
7. Create, maintain, and update material master data in ERP and PLM applications (e.g., Teamcenter), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate material changes and new product setups across regions.
8. Manage and maintain accurate Material Master Data within ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting on-time product delivery.
9. Set up and maintain part data in ERP, managing descriptions, classifications, and pricing, ensuring accurate implementation of material changes.
10. Enforce data principles and standards to maintain high data quality and reliability.
11. Investigate and resolve material master data issues, liaising with relevant departments to clarify requirements and prevent recurrence. Provide support for data-related queries.
12. Stay informed about industry best practices in material master data management.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team! Someone comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
You will have:
* A good level of secondary education with GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Two years of experience with SAP ECC6.0.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good knowledge of SAP ECC6.0 or S4 Hana.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* A strong understanding of ERP data structures, SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP), and their interdependencies.
* Experience in material master data management within an ERP environment (desirable).
* Understanding of data governance principles and data quality management (desirable).
