Job Description
Our client's workload is growing, and they are seeking experienced pipefitters for permanent positions. The company specializes in bespoke design and fabrication of process-related projects, mainly working with stainless steel and carbon pipework over 30 inches. Candidates with experience in the gas & oil, petrochemical, automotive, water sector, or food & beverage industries will have an advantage.

Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering piping drawings, P&ID, GA drawings, and product specifications, including welding symbols.
* Lay out and mark dimensions on materials.
* Complete pipe spool weld set-ups.
* Work with various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, low temp, chrome moly.
* Coordinate work between workshop and site.
* Ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
* Prepare materials prior to assembly and check products for compliance.
* Travel to sites as required.
Requirements
* High-standard pipe fitting skills with visual inspection capabilities.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and work with various material thicknesses and grades.
* Experience in sectors like gas & oil, petrochemical, automotive, water, or food & beverage.
* Skills in fitting and fabrication techniques for small and large bore pipes (up to 36 inches).
* Competence in using equipment such as grinders and abrasive wheels safely.
* Qualifications such as a time-served apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, CSCS, or equivalent are desirable.
Compensation and Schedule
* Pay: £25/hour, minimum £48,000/year
* Hours: No less than 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work possible.
