Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and results-oriented recruitment consultant to handle the entire hiring process for both permanent and temporary employment in various industries. The job includes strategic sourcing, managing client relationships, and giving advice to candidates and hiring managers to help them find the best candidates for the job.
Main Duties
* Oversee the entire hiring process, from defining the job to finding candidates, screening them, interviewing them, and placing them.
* Talk to hiring managers to find out what the job requires, what the company needs in terms of workforce planning, and what skills are missing.
* Come up with ways to find and hire people for roles that are in high demand and in specialist markets.
* Use a variety of venues (job boards, social media, LinkedIn) to write job descriptions and post open positions.
* Use organised ways to screen CVs, do first interviews, and decide if an applicant is a good fit.
* Set up and coordinate interviews with clients and give applicants feedback.
* Keep correct records on applicant tracking systems (ATS) to make sure they follow GDPR and data protection rules.
* Have regular meetings and report on recruitment performance to build and keep great relationships with clients.
* Keep an eye on salary standards, market trends, and what competitors are doing to help clients and applicants.
* Give advice on hiring best practices, employment law, and strategies for diversity and inclusion.
* Help with marketing efforts for hiring and be the agency's face at job fairs and networking events.
Skills and Experience Needed
* A bachelor's degree in an area relating to computer science, human resources, business, or something similar (or the same amount of experience).
* Proven experience in a capacity related to recruitment, resourcing, or talent acquisition (in-house or agency).
* A good awareness of the rules and laws around hiring and the right way to do it.
* Able to use ATS tools and LinkedIn Recruiter well.
* Great at talking to people and making deals.
* The ability to run several recruitment efforts at once and achieve deadlines.
* Understanding of the UK Skilled Worker sponsorship procedure (not required but helpful).
