Childcare Practitioner - Level 2 Location: March, Cambridgeshire Setting: Mainstream Primary School (Early Years/Childcare Provision) Employer: Simply Education Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am - 1:00pm (Summer Term) About the Role Simply Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Childcare Practitioner to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting in March for the summer term. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children's early development through play-based learning and nurturing care within an Early Years or childcare environment. Key Responsibilities Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities. Work with small groups and individuals to encourage engagement and progress. Assist in delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development. Encourage positive behaviour and independence. Assist with daily routines, including snack times and transitions. About You Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent. Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or school setting. Warm, patient, and nurturing approach. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of EYFS (preferred but not essential). Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Why Join Us?
