Coventry City Football Club is seeking a First Team Kit & Laundry Assistant to work full-time at the club’s Training Ground, and on home and away match days.
Working with the Coventry City first team, this role provides a critical service to ensure the team functions are supported in their training and on match days.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all departments at the training ground, and will provide support to the Coventry City Academy.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
* Laundering kit and organising storage
* Team working within a rota system to provide kit management to the first team and academy (players and staff)
* Driving the kit van to and from home and away matches (full, clean driving licence required)
* Packing up the kit van ahead of 1 st team fixtures and emptying the kit van after fixtures
* Setting up the dressing room for home and away matches
* Continuous auditing of kit levels, collecting and reporting data
* Protecting the security of kit and equipment to reduce losses
* Quality assurance of kit & equipment – checking for and reporting any faults
* Working in collaboration with the CCFC retail department
* Printing kit with names, initials and sponsorship
* The post-holder may be required to carry out other duties to assist with the smooth functioning of the Performance Department as required by the Head of Sports Science and/or the Performance Director.

* Experienced driver of vans
* Flexibility to work anti-social hours (there is a requirement to stay overnight for away match days)
* The ability to communicate concisely, assertively, and effectively
* Strong interpersonal skills
