The Radiology department at the Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Hospital is seeking a Band 2 Imaging Support Worker to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at the state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The new centre, which opened in February 2025, provides imaging services including CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Ultrasound for outpatients.

We are looking for someone with the passion and dedication to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare services. Candidates should embody NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity, and Excellence.

The role involves working various day shifts from Monday to Sunday, between 07:30 and 20:00. The post holder will support radiology staff in providing a safe, high-quality environment for diagnostic imaging either within the CDC or at the patient’s bedside by:

1. Assisting in the preparation of the unit/work area.
2. Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
3. Supporting the recovery team in preparing the area.
4. Ensuring a safe departmental environment that minimizes infection risk.
5. Supporting administrative tasks.
