As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be involved in a range of projects from small site surveys to multi-million-pound schemes. You should exhibit the autonomy to work independently, report to, and receive support from the project Associate or Director, as well as collaborate with team members. Your role includes supporting project delivery effectively while maintaining technical performance standards.
To fulfill this role, you need to be degree qualified or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent). You should demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across various sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in report and specification writing.
The company conducts projects in a 3D environment and is rolling out the StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While detailed knowledge of this software is not essential (training will be provided), awareness of working in a 3D environment, along with knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software, is beneficial.
