We are seeking a Forensic, Clinical, or Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about helping people with complex mental health needs to join our rehabilitation service. This role is also open to Newly Qualified Psychologists and applicants due to qualify within 6 months.

Cygnet Delfryn Lodge
Cygnet Delfryn Lodge provides flexible mental health rehabilitation services for women, including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community Rehabilitation (Level 1). This dual-level model ensures women receive tailored support while developing independence at their own pace. Many women referred to us come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programs, or are stepping down from secure settings.
Your Day-to-Day
1. Work 40 hours a week
2. Collaborate as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
3. Conduct psychological assessments and provide therapy to individuals and groups
4. Develop care plans collaboratively with the MDT
5. Provide training, supervision, and consultation to colleagues and teams
6. Evaluate and develop the service, and participate in clinical research
7. Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications
Qualifications and Skills
* HCPC registered Psychologist
* Candidates due to qualify within 6 months are encouraged to apply
* Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema Focused Therapy, EMDR, CAT, and DBT
* Knowledge and experience of forensic risk assessment
* Trained in specialised assessments such as IPDE and PCL-R
* Passionate about working with people with complex mental health needs
* Capable of treating issues like self-harm, aggression, sexual offending, and substance problems
