Office Administrator

NMSB is an independent, local manufacturer and supplier specializing in aggregates and concrete, sporting and horticultural sands, soils, and compost, merchanting supplies, and waste management services. They support the construction, landscaping, and specific sports and horticultural industries with a focus on quality products and services.

Job Title: Office Administrator

Location: Head Office, Caird Avenue, New Milton, BH25 5PX

Hours: 15 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday; 3 hours per day flexible

Salary: £10,140 (£13.00 per hour)

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive office and facilities administrator to ensure the smooth running of our office and the effective management of our facilities. This role combines general administrative support with responsibility for office services, building maintenance, and health & safety compliance. You will act as the main point of contact for visitors and suppliers, helping to create a safe, efficient and welcoming workplace.

Duties will include:

* Act as the key point of contact for building management, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
* Manage cleaning and maintenance contracts.
* Act as Health & Safety lead: maintain policies, review risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Organise first aid, fire marshal, and health & safety training for staff.
* Coordinate emergency drills and maintain preparedness across the office.
* Keep the office running day-to-day: supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
* Handle scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
