We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, who represents the diversity of our school community. As a Leadership Team we are always thinking how we can make it more manageable for our staff with meaningful support. What we need We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, uses their initiative and is flexible when changes occur. Your contract will be full time (8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday / 8.30am to 2.30pm Friday), term time only. Initially this will be a fixed term contract, with the possibility of moving to a permanent position. We are also considering one to ones to support SEND children specifically too. To be successful in this post, you will need: excellent communication skills, confidence in the classroom to ensure a nurturing environment and the ability to work at a high level in English and Maths so to support the good progress expected for all of our pupils.
