Role Summary
The role of Senior Payroll Advisor is to support the Payroll Manager in maintaining all relevant payroll information so that our third-party providers can pay all employees correctly and at the right time. Provide proactive support to the wider People Team with a specific focus on data transfer/integrity and continued systems improvements.
Role Responsibilities
* Initial run and checking of monthly UK, ROI and Channel Island payrolls approx. 1400 hourly and 700 salaried employees
* Liaising with external payroll bureaus to complete payrolls
* Answer payroll queries from employees
* Own expenses processes
* Liaise with all departments within the People Team to ensure data is transferred and processed in correct timescales and accurately.
* Own the maternity and paternity process
* Ensuring payrolls are posted and reconciled in the Finance Systems
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
* Knowledge of Access PeopleXD is an advantage
* Administrative skills - proficient in office package. Able to manage data from a variety of sources, audit and maintain accurate records.
* A concern for quality and delivering services to a high standard.
* Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
