Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated part time Triage Nurse hrs) who is happy to work in a team but confident to work independently as well. The post holder will be able to see and treat minor illnesses and perform triage (telephone and online). Training and supervision will be given to the successful candidate depending on previous experience and learning needs. Applicants will need to hold an NMC registration and ideally have previous primary care experience.
Main duties of the job
* Prioritise patient care using appropriate clinical tools
* Assess and formulate a working management plan for patients presenting with acute illnesses in primary care, commensurate with your skills and experience.
* Work alongside clinical health professionals and primary care partners to deliver timely care and follow up.
* Engage in continuous education and self development to further your clinical management skills.
