Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work across a range of schools within the White Horse Federation. This is a fantastic opportunity to start immediately and work flexibly throughout the academic year with potential for long-term placement or contract progression.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Confidence in delivering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students
* A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
* Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
* Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity
* Building rapport with students and staff across different school settings
