About the Role
They’re looking for an experienced Automation / Control & Instrumentation Engineer to take responsibility for delivering end to end control system solutions.
This is a hands on role covering the full project lifecycle, from initial design and software development through to commissioning and customer handover. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers, shaping technical decisions and delivering robust automation systems using Siemens platforms and modern SCADA technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and develop automation and control solutions using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC
* Build SCADA and HMI applications using Ignition Perspective
* Develop control system software from scratch based on project scope and functional requirements
* Produce full documentation including FDS, SDS, FAT and SAT protocols, IO schedules, wiring diagrams, and technical reports
* Define hardware specifications, instrumentation selection, and control panel requirements
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and on site troubleshooting
* Support factory testing, site commissioning, and customer handover
* Ensure systems meet relevant safety standards, including ATEX where applicable
About You
* 7 plus years experience in industrial automation or process control
* Strong hands on experience with Siemens TIA Portal, PLCs, HMIs, and drives
* Experience delivering SCADA solutions, ideally using Ignition Perspective
* Comfortable reading electrical drawings and working safely on control systems
* Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects
* Clear communicator with a practical, delivery focused mindset
