Overview
As an IT Services Engineer, you'll take ownership of how Zopa's workplace technology evolves. You'll design, implement, and support solutions across Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Zoom, Jamf, Jira, and Confluence—with a focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency. You'll work closely with InfoSec, Networking, and Platform Engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and seamless IT services while championing innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain IT services and workplace technologies that enable Zopians to do their best work.
* Act as a senior escalation point for the Service Desk, supporting complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
* Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects (e.g., zero-trust initiatives, endpoint automation, or AI workflow enhancements).
* Collaborate with InfoSec, Networking, and Platform Engineering to ensure services are secure and scalable.
* Continuously improve processes, identifying automation and standardisation opportunities.
* Contribute to the strategic roadmap for Workplace Technology, defining standards and best practices.
* Mentor and support colleagues across IT Services, building technical capability and knowledge sharing.
* Deliver clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical users.
* Work in a modern tech environment with autonomy and real impact.
* Collaborate with experts across Zopa's Technology division.

Qualifications
* Solid experience in IT services, systems engineering, or workplace technology roles.
* Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Tanium, Jamf, Okta and Zoom.
* Experience automating tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting tools.
* Knowledge of endpoint management, security hardening, and identity management principles.
* Experience collaborating with teams such as InfoSec, Networking, or Platform Engineering.
* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
* A passion for using automation and AI to improve service delivery.
* Experience delivering IT transformation or automation projects.
* Familiarity with zero-trust security principles and architecture.
* Exposure to monitoring tools or endpoint analytics solutions.
* ITIL Foundation or Microsoft/Azure certifications.
* Experience configuring virtual desktops, such as AWS Workspaces or Citrix.
* Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt to a hybrid working model.
