Community Work Order Supervisor 36 hours per week, this post will have a shift pattern (i.e- Sunday 9.30am-4pm, Monday 10am-9pm, Tuesday 9.30am-4.30pm, Wednesday- 9.30am-9pm )

West Lothian Council Justice Services have an exciting opportunity to recruit a full-time permanent Community Work Order Supervisor within the Community Payback Unpaid Work Team. This dynamic team is responsible for the supervision of Court Orders for all individuals made subject to an Unpaid Work requirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising service users who are completing their hours of unpaid work. This may be done at one of our workshops or on location within West Lothian. Working alongside colleagues the successful candidate will ensure that service users comply with the requirements of their Court Orders; identifying and seeking out project opportunities that work teams can undertake as part of payback to the local community.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote compliance and positive engagement and be involved in the supervision of diverse, complex and challenging service users.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
