Veterinary Surgeon Saffron Walden/Haverhill
We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident Small Animal Vet to become part of our incredible team across Saffron Walden & Haverhill Vets for Pets whilst we go through an exciting growth phase. This dual-site role is based across both Saffron Walden & Haverhill depending on business demands and caseloads. You should be comfortable working across both practices and adapting to each.
With complete clinical autonomy and the support of a dedicated team, our goal is to provide gold standard care for our customers, focusing on diagnostic choices and affordability rather than sales margins or targets.
We have a fully equipped clinic including dental x-ray, digital x-ray & ultrasound with doppler and laparoscopic equipment. Our team across both practices consists of 6 Vets, 6 Nurses & 3 Student Nurses.
We are a close-knit team, so we are looking for someone who will fit our culture and, occasionally, share a cup of tea with colleagues.
What we are looking for
This is the perfect role for a Vet who is great at making personal connections with clients, is passionate about customer service, and enjoys the culture of a team known by name to our loyal customer base. You will remain calm under pressure with a smile and enjoy consulting as much as the clinical side. If you have a surgical bias, or are a consulting-only Vet, we would love to speak with you.
This role will be predominantly based at Haverhill but includes exciting opportunities and requirements to work across both practices (Saffron Walden & Haverhill). We can be flexible to accommodate desired working patterns and are keen to consider both full-time and part-time positions. 1:4 Saturdays (9am-6pm) will be required, and we are due to reopen on Sundays (10am-4pm) so this will be part of the rota in the near future. There are currently no OOHs.
