As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Tutor to join our close-knit team at Copper Fields School, part of Options Autism.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be required to tutor students in Outdoor Education & Physical Education curriculum. They will enhance the Outdoor Education & Physical Education provision, support class teachers and staff, and undertake duties delegated by the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
The main duties include leading Outdoor Education & Physical Education activities, being the school’s Educational Visits Coordinator (with training), and encouraging student re-engagement with learning.
We seek a candidate who will foster positive relationships within the school community and maintain effective communication with parents.
Essential:
1. Relevant Outdoor Education/Sports qualifications and experience
2. Experience in an SEN school
3. GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent
4. EVC Coordinator
5. Full UK Driving Licence
