Role: Finance Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Hove
Hours: Part Time with approx 20 - 21 hours per week (at least 3 days per week)
Pay: £12.21 - £13.50 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join one of our valued clients on a temporary basis (immediate start) in their Hove office. The Requirements:
* Recent experience using spreadsheets for record-keeping
* Proficiency and confidence in IT use
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage tasks independently
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Understanding of bookkeeping principles (desirable)
* Experience using Xero accounting software (desirable)
The Role:
* Manage financial transactions on behalf of clients using online banking
* Correctly allocate income to client sub-accounts
* Communicate with colleagues to ensure accounts do not fall into unauthorised deficits
* Make weekly cash allowances and grant payments as required
* Maintain accurate records using accounting software
* Reconcile accounts, cash, and credit card transactions
* Work closely with internal teams to maintain up-to-date, accurate client financial records
* Support volunteers in financial tasks where applicable
