Responsibilities Spearhead quality improvement initiatives in product development and manufacturing processes.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers to achieve quality objectives and meet timeline commitments.
Proactively identify risks, ensure compliance, and lead root cause analyses to drive process optimization.
Plan and conduct audits to uphold compliance with safety and environmental standards, ensuring products meet and exceed expectations.
Actively support operational tasks during peak periods or staffing gaps to ensure efficiency and maintain team productivity.
Qualifications Previous experience in quality assurance, specifically within regulated industries such as defence or aerospace, is highly beneficial .
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and additional certifications like ISO 45001 or AS9100, is desirable .
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving, is highly advantageous and will aid in achieving continuous improvement.
Holding relevant academic qualifications or possessing significant hands-on experience in quality engineering roles, which is beneficial to successfully deliver in this position.
Strong analytical skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork are key traits we value in this role.
