Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager for a housing development in Bristol, comprising 40 terraced and semi-detached 2-3 bedroom homes. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality homes to Housing Association partners, from internal finishes to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the finishing phase from 2nd fix to completion: carpentry, plumbing, electrics, decoration, flooring, cleaning, mastics, etc.
* Conduct site inductions for all personnel and visitors.
* Monitor Health & Safety compliance including PPE usage.
* Coordinate internal trades to maintain progress and quality.
* Drive progress by attending and leading subcontractor meetings.
* Perform snagging and support final commissioning of the houses.
* Ensure all certifications (Electrical Certs, Air Tests, EPCs) are in place for CML.
* Oversee the client snagging and handover process.
* Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure delivery standards are met.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager on residential projects.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple internal trades.
* Strong understanding of UK housing standards and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
