Job description RPS Recruitment has been retained by CoolKit Ltd, the UKs leading manufacturer of temperature-controlled vehicles, to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to install, service, and maintain refrigeration systems in commercial vehicles.The RoleAs a Refrigeration Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of refrigeration installations. Your responsibilities will include:Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting vehicle refrigeration systems.Diagnosing faults and repairing key components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.Recharging refrigeration systems, ensuring correct pressure and cooling levels.Leading new installations and providing technical support to the wider team.Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.Following all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment.Assisting in stock control and ensuring parts and equipment are readily available.Training and mentoring junior engineers as part of their development.The PersonWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise.
