Duties as a Vehicle Technician
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently
- Carry out mechanical repairs including clutch, brake, suspension, and engine work
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify additional repair needs
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards within allotted times
- Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians to maintain workshop efficiency
Requirements
- NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Proven experience in servicing and repairs, able to work independently
- MOT licence desirable but not essential
- Reliable, professional approach to work
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Full valid UK driving licence
