Learning Support Assistant – Swallowdale Primary School
Fixed Term until 23 August 2026. 17.5 hours per week – term time only, plus inset (39 weeks). Grade 5, Pt 7 to 8 (£10,197 to £10,358). Start Date: Monday 27 October 2025. Application Close Date: 22 September 2025. Provisional Interview Date: w/c 29 September 2025.

This role is based at Swallowdale Primary School within the Bradgate Education Partnership, working as a Learning Support Assistant on a fixed term basis.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of the curriculum, run groups or provide intervention support where necessary.
* Work across the school and may include working with children with additional needs.
* Work as an integral part of the Learning Support team to help ensure high quality education and meaningful experiences for pupils.
Qualifications and attributes
* Have an appropriate qualification and/or experience of working with children in an educational setting.
* Be flexible, resourceful and adaptable; able to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum and use this to support children’s learning.
* Value and model inclusion, at the heart of the school ethos.
