About the site:
East Kilbride Operations produce 20 million cases of drinks annually across 6 production lines, including glass bottle and PET bottle (plastic) lines. This site is the only one in GB producing Appletiser in glass. With approximately 204 employees, this experience can lead to excellent career opportunities both locally and across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
Role overview:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure equipment reliability through the Maintenance Plan, supporting and assessing maintenance efficiency across Manufacturing and Distribution, and maintaining Machine Standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading Root Cause Analysis and 5 Whys to prevent recurring breakdowns
* Managing six-year maintenance plans, including budgeting and OEM coordination
* Upskilling Operators & Technicians via on-the-job coaching
* Coordinating escalation for maintenance or breakdown support
* Reviewing and prioritising corrective backlog to manage risk
Qualifications and experience:
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification - NVQ Level 4 or Degree
* Practical experience in machine asset care
* Data analysis experience for Root Cause Analysis
* Good written English and ability to write technical instructions
* Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential
