As an Internal Tools Engineer in the Harlequin Core RIP team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the build, integration, and test tool infrastructure that underpins our software development. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless automation, rapid feedback cycles, and high-quality software delivery.

The Harlequin Core RIP is at the heart of many of the world’s leading digital presses, and we are seeking an Internal Tools Engineer to strengthen our build and test infrastructure and ensure the continued reliability and performance of our technology.
Your responsibilities
* Maintain and administer TeamCity servers and clients.
* Design, configure, and maintain TeamCity build projects.
* Develop and distribute automated build and testing tools to support the team.
* Troubleshoot and resolve build, integration, and test issues across platforms.
* Collaborate with developers and QA to improve test coverage and reliability.
Your qualifications
* Proven experience with TeamCity build and automation systems.
* Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
* Shell scripting expertise: DOS, PowerShell, and bash.
* Experience with Tomcat and MySQL database development.
* Cross-platform expertise: Windows, Linux, and macOS.
* Proficiency with Git code management.
Desirable Skills
* Development experience in C and C#.
* Familiarity with Django for web-based tools.
* Knowledge of Docker containerization.
* Exposure to Azure cloud services.
* Exposure to Open Platforms Communication (OPC).
* Experience using Jira for issue tracking and workflow management.
