We are seeking a Personal Education Plan (PEP) Officer. This position will support the Children in Care Coordinator, with promoting the educational achievement of Children in Care (CIC) and Care Leavers, between the ages of 16 to 19 at Blossomfield and Woodlands campuses. This will be through liaison with external stakeholders including the Virtual School and Children s Social Care.
The role will involve setting individualised learning targets and prioritising the student s personal, emotional and academic needs. The role will administer the effective operation of the PEP process and support the monitoring of CIC and Care Leavers, ensuring appropriate liaison with foster carers, internal staff and external agencies.
You will have experience of multi-agency work and proven experience of working within Further Education (including -year-olds). In addition to this, candidates will ideally have a knowledge of the PEP process and the challenges facing CIC and Care Leavers.
