As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional gaming experiences to players worldwide. Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with game development and design teams to understand game specifications, mechanics, and objectives.
2. Test the functionality of features as they are implemented, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
3. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate game builds, identifying and reporting any issues.
4. Track and validate bug fixes, ensuring that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
5. Assist in coordinating and conducting playtests with larger groups, gathering valuable feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
6. Compile playtest feedback and meticulously log issues for the development team to address.
7. Stay up-to-date with platform technical requirements, checklists, and submission processes, ensuring compliance and smooth game releases.
Must-Have Qualifications:
8. Proven experience in a QA role within the gaming industry (mobile, console, and Nintendo Switch) on games gone to market.
9. Experience developing or testing games built in a popular game engine.
10. Experience shipping games on console or mobile platforms.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating seamless teamwork with cross-functional teams.
