Position Overview
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong finance background who are eager to expand into operational responsibilities. The Regional Finance & Business Compliance Manager will oversee financial reporting, business management, and compliance within the UK and Ireland, managing the UK Sales operating company's financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise financial reporting to meet statutory and group requirements.
* Prepare and analyze P&L statements, providing insights for decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Manage a team of Finance Managers and Assistants across multiple countries.
* Collaborate with other regional finance managers and sales teams.
* Oversee financial transactions and ensure adherence to controls and approvals.
* Maintain statutory compliance and oversee internal and external audits.
* Manage environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and reporting.
* Oversee facilities management within the region.
* Implement sustainability initiatives and community engagement activities.
* Potentially act as a Company Director, including signing contracts and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong finance background with experience in reporting and analysis.
* Ability to interpret sales and financial data for strategic insights.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
* Experience managing teams across multiple countries is preferable.
