Overview
NHSGGC is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
There are 2 posts available: 1 full-time post at 37 hours per week and 1 part-time post at 22.2 hours per week. These are permanent community posts and the spread of hours is negotiable across Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30, some remote working may be required.
This post offers the opportunity to work as a Physiotherapist within integrated services across the integrated adult services. The role provides the opportunity to maintain clinical skills and work within multi-disciplinary teams with the aim of supporting adults and older people to live as independently as possible within their community.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be working within the MDT and will provide direct clinical skills; will complete assessments, formulate a treatment plan and deliver as an autonomous practitioner. They will carry a clinical caseload and will participate in assessment and care planning as required as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team, with the aim of addressing waiting lists and maximise an individual’s rehabilitation potential and their ability to remain safely at home or in a homely setting.
