Join to apply for the Client Manager role at Close Brothers Invoice Finance.
Join the Close Brothers Invoice Finance (CBIF) team where you will manage a portfolio (c. 40-45 clients) of Invoice Discounting and Factoring clients, with funds in use of up to £3m in the Commercial Team based in Manchester. You will ensure the delivery of excellent customer service whilst maintaining a strong focus on risk management in order to preserve low bad debts and maximise client life and income. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience managing client portfolios within the Invoice Finance industry, or have a strong background in a relevant junior role and can demonstrate that they’re ready to take the next step.
Whichever candidate profile you are, you will have exceptional communication and relationship building skills, you’ll be highly organised with a keen eye for detail and a good head for numbers and risk management.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio (c. 40-45 clients) of factoring and invoice discounting clients with funds in use of up to £3,000,000.
* Maintain an understanding of the value of additional security in place per client.
* Maximise client life by ensuring delivery of excellent service and implement additional services where appropriate.
* Maximise income by ensuring the correct fee rates are maintained and by ensuring additional fees are charged where appropriate.
* Undertake annual client reviews, and ad hoc reviews where facility changes are required.
* Source new business opportunities for Close Brothers Group from existing client base.
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience managing clients in the Invoice finance industry including exposure to credit & risk.
* The ability to build effective, lasting relationships with clients at individual and board level, and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to negotiate satisfactory solutions between client and bank.
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain client relationships to achieve zero qualifying attrition.
* The ability to interpret and analyse financial information.
* Effective problem solving skills.
* Valid UK driving licence.
Nice to have
* Knowledge of using RiskFactor.
* Knowledge/Management of IF, ID & ABL products.
