We are looking for a Junior CAD technician to join our design team.
This role is open to both recent graduates starting their career and experienced designers seeking their next step.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proficient CAD skills who can support the Store Design team to ensure drawings for existing and future stores are both accurate formatted and filed for ease of access both internally and for international partners.
Role Responsibilities
* File and record all project technical and drawing documentation.
* Collaborating with architects and landlords to ensure design scheme accuracy.
* Reviewing and updating drawings as needed
* Converting PDF & plans into AutoCad formats
* Creating accurate Fire and Hazard plans and for submission to the relevant authorities
* Updating layouts in line with information from our surveyors PMs and Store design Team
* Maintaining up-to-date store plans across the business and on organisations servers
* Drawing and detailing retail designs in plan & elevation using Autocad to local standards.
* Understand and work within budgets and time schedules to ensure information is available in CAD and PDF formats for use both UK and US teams.
Role Requirements
* Proficient in AutoCAD and experience using software such as Revit & Sketch up etc
* Excellent attention to detail when creating drawings and when checking colleagues work for accuracy and quality.
* Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other CAD technicians and project stakeholders.
* Good organisational and time management skills to ensure work is delivered to project deadlines.
* Knowledge of drafting and design principles
* A good understanding of UK building regulations retail experience would be advantageous
* Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident working at pace and managing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Self-motivated and proactive with a hands-on approach
