We’re looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil in a primary school in Downend.
This role is mornings only and involves working closely with a pupil who has an autism diagnosis and social, emotional and mental health needs.
The role:
* Provide 1:1 support in the classroom
* Help the pupil stay engaged with learning
* Support emotional regulation and routines
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children with autism and/or SEMH needs
* A calm and patient approach
* Good communication skills
* Reliable and able to commit to the hours
