Job Description
Muirton is a standalone unit, specialising in working and supporting individuals with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
The ward requires a keen and motivated person to maintain high standards. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the Moray Older Adult Psychiatry service.
Previous experience of working in acute admission or with older adults would be advantageous. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and harmoniously in a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Support and encouragement will be provided to meet mandatory and other essential training requirements.
The post involves rotational work on a flexible 12-hour shift system to ensure continuity and meet service needs.
This is a 37-hour permanent position.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
