The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel, situated in the village of Luss is looking for full and/or part time bar staff, to work in our busy bar, lounge, restaurant and function suites.
You are required to be polite, well groomed, providing the highest level of service for our guests, with a good eye for detail and excellent customer service skills, while working in a fast paced environment. You will need to be confident when taking guest's orders for drinks and be able to make recommendations.
Your main duties are:
* To serve drinks to guests in our lounge, bar, restaurant and function suites, ensuring all guest requests and enquiries are responded to in a timely, professional and friendly manner
* Manage daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
* Be confident performing our opening and closing procedures
* Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* To communicate and work effectively within our teams to ensure every guest leaves wanting to come back
* Ensure all cash, room charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly (care and attention to detail is key)
* ensure tills are balanced and cashed off correctly
* ensure all areas are kept clean and sanitised to our required levels, tables being cleared, cleaned, glasses put promptly in washer to ensure a constant supply of clean glasses
* Our bar tenders should to be confident mixologists, able to follow recipes and create cocktails.
* be confident when checking customer age verification
* Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed
* To maintain the cleanliness of all bar areas
* adhere to all health & safety requirements
Previous waiting/bar/barista experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given in all areas.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
