Overview
Qualified Teacher required for a tutoring role. Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time SEN Outreach Tutor to provide exceptional support for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will work closely with local councils and SEND teams to deliver tailored, high-quality educational support to young learners outside of mainstream education.
Key responsibilities
* Assess individual learners' needs and develop personalised learning plans
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to each child\'s specific requirements
* Monitor and report on pupils\' progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child\'s education and well-being
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures
Salary and contract
Our client offers a competitive salary of £25 - £30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position, providing you with the flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments.
Essential qualifications and experience
* Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
* Experience working with pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
* Understanding of special educational needs and the challenges faced by learners outside of mainstream education
* Enhanced DBS check and commitment to safeguarding children
