These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children, supporting their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups to help them access the curriculum.
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and classroom organisation.
Provide targeted support for children with SEND needs such as autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language, or SEMH.
Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children in primary education (EYFS–KS2).
A positive, patient and proactive approach to working with young learners.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children with a range of needs.
