Seven Social Care are looking for 1 Children and Social Worker to work for Swindon Borough Council based in Swindon. This position is full time (37 hours per week) and is paying £45 per hour + £100 Per Week Accommodation Expenses.
This is a hybrid role.
The Role:
The team work within pods to optimise the management, oversight and support to all Social Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake comprehensive assessments including parenting assessments in a timely way to inform development of outcome focused care plans with Children and their Families.
* Undertake care proceedings within the court, both private and public.
* Initiate and complete within court timescales and achieve permanency plans for children including adoption.
* Understand and respond to complexity of risks and are required to evidence on records, including providing analysis of their interventions with children and families.
Applicant Requirements:
* Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role.
* Compliance: Up to date DBS/SWE Registration
* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
* Hours: 37 hours p/w.
