You will need to communicate with the wider team involved in the proposals process, organise budgets and present proposal packages to clients. Medicines Evaluation Unit Ltd (MEU), an IQVIA business, is a UK leader in conducting early phase clinical trials. MEU is a government approved, MHRA Phase 1 accredited unit, able to perform First-in-Human trials in healthy volunteers. We also specialise in performing Respiratory (Asthma, COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, IPF), Dermatology (Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema and Psoriasis), other Inflammatory and Cardiovascular trials.Job Title: Proposals AssociateLocation: South Manchester, UK (please note this is an office-based role).The role: Responsible for compiling study budgets and proposals, reporting directly to the Senior Business Manager.Partake in review of Requests for Proposal (RFP) documents, identifying proposal requirements.Prepare and submit proposal documents within customer defined timeframes for MEU and its affiliates.Act as point of contact for the collection of information requested during the proposal process.Liaising with clients from world-renowned pharma to smaller biotech companies.Actively participate in meetings with prospective clients as required.Liaise with external vendors to ensure accurate proposals for subcontracted services are received within prescribed timeframes.Ongoing proactive involvement with external vendors and internal departments ensuring all services have initially and during a project lifespan remain appropriately quoted and costed.Negotiate with vendors and clients.Maintain and develop vendor and client relationships.Support the business team to ensure company growth.Skills:Ideally you will have knowledge of the clinical trial industry, knowledge of sales support activities as well as an understanding of clinical trial study design, project management, and operational requirements for successful study implementation.Highly organised with excellent oral and written communication skills.Highly motivated individual with initiative and a desire to learn and progress.Positive and engaging personality with an ability to build relationships internally and externally.
